Welcome to Vintage Books, Southwest Washington’s largest independent, family-owned bookstore. We have been serving our community since 1975. You’ll find new and used titles in the store. Our used book inventory includes extensive collections in military history, literature, fiction, cooking, scifi/fantasy, U.S. History, and children’s books, as well as automotive manuals prior to 2000. Our new book section is a small, heavily curated selection of titles across genres, with a focus on diversity and inclusion. We are also able to order most in-print titles, in case the title you seek is not in our current inventory. Our staff of book lovers enjoy a variety of styles and genres. We love to recommend our favorites, so if you’d like a suggestion, please ask! We work hard to make your book buying experience easy. If you have the opportunity to visit our physical store, you'll find us to be pretty low key. You can wander our towering pine shelves, looking for treasure; sit in a quiet corner to peruse a book; or browse our selection of cards, teas, stickers, and other sidelines. And, if you’re lucky, you might receive a visit from our resident feline greeter, Oliver, or spot our furry diva, Maisie, napping in a cozy corner or slinking past you as you browse.
