A hearty thank you to CBA member Michael Powell for being our tour guide through the amazing achievement known as Powell’s Warehouse.
Their warehouse ships out about two thousand orders every day! Enormous amounts of inventory are housed in a variety of groups: used books, new books, remainders, sidelines, etc. They even have their own workshop for building shelves.
After the tour, we sat down with Mr. Powell and had a good discussion about bookselling. Quite a few people considered this one of the most interesting CBA events we’ve done, thanks Mike!
